MACULAR DEGENERATION NZ
From August to November 2020 I was hired by Macular Degeneration New Zealand to help promote via social media awareness around this eye condition (the most common cause of blindness for New Zealanders), and encourage my audience to enter the Macular Degeneration photography competition New Zealand's Best Views. We received over 500 entries to the competition which I was on the judging panel and shortlisted the entries. This cause was close to my heart as my nana suffers from the eye condition.
I was published in the New Zealand Herald both front page and front page of the Travel section, and interviewed and published in New Zealand Woman magazine.
We were able to promote Macular Degeneration week with huge success and I was so glad to be part of it.
