Rach Stewart Australia Fine Art Prints and Wall Art

AUSTRALIA LANDSCAPE PRINTS & COASTAL PHOTOGRAPHY WALL ART

While New Zealand will always feel like home, travelling through Australia opened up a completely different landscape to explore through my lens.

From the rich colours of the coastline to the intensity of the light, Australia offers a unique photographic experience. The contrast between soft ocean tones and rugged terrain creates scenes that feel both powerful and calming at the same time.

Many of these images were captured during road trips and coastal adventures ... chasing light, weather, and those fleeting moments that turn into something unforgettable.

I feel lucky that photographing the Australian landscape is only a short plane ride for me from New Zealand. I have been able to visit for Australian photography on three separate occasions in recent years and the landscape has never disappointed me. There is so much diversity and incredible sights to be seen.

Australia is a photographer's paradise from the iconic red sands of the Outback to the pristine beaches of the Gold Coast, there is no shortage of breathtaking vistas to capture with a camera.

On my Australian landscape photography trips I have spent time along the Great Ocean Road, Victoria, Kakadu National Park, and Darwin but there are so many other places I would love to explore.

Some popular Australian landscape photography locations include the Great Ocean Road, Blue Mountains, the Great Barrier Reef, the Kimberley, the Nullarbor Plain, and Uluru (Ayers Rock). Photographers may also find inspiration in the country's smaller landscapes, such as its national parks, waterfalls, and coastal regions.

Landscape photography in Australia can be challenging due to the country's harsh conditions, including extreme heat, strong winds, and intense sunlight. Photographers may need to be prepared for these conditions and carefully plan their shoots to avoid overexposure and other technical issues.

Despite these challenges, the end result of capturing Australia's stunning landscapes can be incredibly rewarding. The country's breathtaking scenery provides ample opportunities for photographers to capture images that showcase the beauty and unique character of this fascinating country.
